2015 Survivors

This is what I get for actually filling my buck tag before rifle season for once.  Nice to see a couple decent ones made it through.  These 2 should be nice next year.

Weekend of November 21st and 22nd

I think the arrow hit below the heart and just above the skin under the body cavity right behind the shoulder.  After waiting 3 hours, I only found a little blood where the buck first stopped.  I spent a few hours with the dog that afternoon trying to pick up some more sign or possibly jump the buck, but came up with nothing.  I never did find the arrow.  I'm thinking and hoping that the injury is just a flesh wound.
